Tl:dr - You'll find a lot of games and whole genres (eg, strategy, simulations) that will technically "run" but are not really playable / enjoyable in practise. You may find more titles (eg, text adventures like Zork) are playable with one of those Rii mini bluetooth keyboard + touchpads. Other games involve swapping between a "joystick" and keyboard (eg, Elite Plus) or "joystick" and mouse (Cyber Empires), and a "fat finger" on a touchscreen or Bluetooth controller alone is no serious replacement. But FPS's like Doom or puzzle / strategy games like Lemmings where you have to rapidly click on tiny objects really do need a keyboard & mouse. Point & click adventure games not supported by ScummVM (eg, Dragonsphere) work fine, as do platformers with very simple controls (eg, Crystal Caves or original Prince of Persia).
